Mom & Littles

Little Fawn Handmade ♥

A few weeks ago, a fellow infertility warrior reached out to me on Instagram to help her spread the word about a shop she opened on Instagram. She makes beautiful handmade rainbow keychains, and I instantly knew I wanted to share these with the world. Not only do we relate to being moms, and infertility warriors, but we have battled and are still conquering postpartum depression and anxiety. Rainbows can have so many meanings. For me, my keychain honors my rainbow baby and reminds me of the journey that has made me the mom I am today.

Here is a little bit more about Julie & why she opened Little Fawn Handmade:

I started my shop Little Fawn Handmade as a way to help cope with my postpartum depression. Our journey to conceive Maeve was a struggle. We went through a few years of infertility before starting IVF. Right before we were starting IVF, I was laid off from my job of almost 5 years. We then went on to have 2 unsuccessful transfers before we had Maeve. But then came more difficulties, and my pregnancy was extremely difficult. I was sick every day until delivery, and before we delivered, we received word that our remaining frozen embryos were lost. I also struggled with breastfeeding, which is a whole different story.

With new baby, and everything that happened prior, It felt like I was on autopilot during the first year of her life. In October, almost 18 months postpartum, I sought therapy and it has been the BIGGEST blessing.

Now I’m working to find who I am as a mama, and this shop has given me a little piece of that. Julie
