Beech-Nut® Naturals
Attention Mamas! We are now approaching the baby food stage… [#ad] When I had my son Porter, I was so excited, nervous, and overwhelmed with starting foods. There is so much out there, but I knew I wanted to give him a brand of purees I could trust. Beech-Nut® Naturals quickly became our favorite because they make their purees with natural fruits and veggies. Porter really enjoyed these purees, and some of his favorites were the sweet potatoes, bananas, and mangos. I continued to use this brand throughout his different stages of foods, and toddler snacks because he not only loves the taste but I know he is getting quality…

Why Your Baby’s Gut Health Is So Important
When piper was born, I didn’t know if I’d be able to breastfeed since my experience with Porter was unsuccessful. It took a little while, but we finally found our groove, but I’ve noticed a few things like how gassy she is and fussy she can be after feedings. A couple weeks after she came home, she also developed a horrible diaper rash, and broke out with baby acne all over. I know baby acne is common, and my son had it as well, but this time it was much more stubborn. I did my research and found this probiotic that works with breastmilk to transform the nutrients in breast…

The Stork Bag (Third Trimester)
Pregnancy is different for everyone whether you’re a first time mom or this is your second, third, fourth, etc. (good for you mama!) But one thing is the same for all pregnant women, we deserve to be pampered. I’m so bummed I didn’t come across The Stork Bag with my first pregnancy, and even so I wish I came across it sooner this pregnancy. The nice thing about The Stork Bag is that each bag is curated to whatever trimester you’re in. They offer first trimester, second trimester, third trimester, and even postpartum! I was afraid because I was already 4 weeks away from my due date that it would…

Let’s Talk Teething…
Let’s talk teething… My son started teething pretty early on around 3-4 months. It was a process that felt like eternity with no end in sight. Finally, around 5 months I noticed some popping through, and before I knew it SIX teeth top and bottom came in all at ONCE! Then a couple months later two more popped through. Poor thing. It was tough for him to sleep, and I felt so bad for him. I tried teething gel and he hated the taste. I also tried teethers, even the ones you stick in the freezer and nothing really gave him long lasting relief. I knew when he started to…

the baby blues…
We hear about postpartum depression and the baby blues, but we don’t ever truly understand it until it happens to us. Even if you’ve never suffered from depression or you had a picture perfect pregnancy, it can still show up well after that precious baby is finally in your arms. No one around me knew I was silently struggling because I felt so ashamed. I would hide behind my smile and social media posts, but deep down inside I was crumbling. Yeah, I definitely struggled to get pregnant. I went through rounds of testing and IVF and had complications at the end of my pregnancy. I still enjoyed every second of being…

from the beginning…
After struggling to conceive naturally we began to wonder if something was wrong, and why we couldn’t get pregnant. We tried everything from ovulation tests to timing sex. I just had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. I scheduled an appointment with my OB and asked her to check my hormone levels. My OB kept telling me I’m young and it will happen. When the results came back we were both shocked to find out I was in premature ovarian failure. I was only 27 years old, how could this be happening? She referred me out quickly to an RE for further testing and treatment. After seeing an RE she…
